Blog 2 - Blistering Buenos Aires – 18 February

After 15 hours of flying (via Madrid) we finally arrived at Hotel Loi Suites in the Recoleta District of Buenos Aires – that flight seemed endless- totally wiped out. However, when next awake the sun was shining, the hotel was fabulous, at breakfast we were entertained by a lone swimmer pounding up and down a very small pool whilst we ate, before heading out and wandering the streets all day. BA is a fabulous city; wide boulevards, monumental architecture, art deco cafes everywhere (Jane would love this place) and lots of shops.

The blistering is in the heat and on my feet........... We revisited all the places we went to last time we were here (bit sad but very enjoyable) and last night (John & Barbara) we ate at Broccolinos again. Today we walked again, visiting Evita grave amongst others and tonight we go to a tango show (as you do...) before flying out tomrrow at 6.00am down to the south eastern corner of Argentina, where our adventures really start. Will be happy now to leave the city-guess I am a country girl at heart!
