Now writing this aboard the DFDS ferry to Esbjerg, sitting in the Commodore's Lounge and feeling very posh!!! D couldn't get us in below deck so he bit the bullet and booked Commode class and very very nice it is to. No mixing with the riffraff on this crossing....back to below decks for the return crossing though! Just been invited to meet a pirate who would take me to meet the Captain-think I'll skip that one. sea very calm and sun is shining so here we go again.
Should land around lunchtime and intend to drive across the 3 Danish islands, heading for the Oresund Bridge (yes, The Killing bridge!) and into Sweden tomorrow. After that, who knows. Plan on driving straight up through the middle of Sweden to the Arctic Circle, then turn left into Norway to visit the Lofoten Islands and then drive down through Norway and the fjords back to the ferry. But we shall see how we get on.......
Ahhhh- the Commodores Cabin, a treat!
